The Twilight
These are just a few of the hard, dark facts about rape and sexual assault that are tackled in our first feature-length motion picture, The Twilight (formerly known as Survivors). The Twilight is the feature adaptation of the short film Broken and expands on the theme of spiritual and emotional survival through the unique journeys of three sexual assault victims. Pivoting on a metropolitan rape crisis center and its dedicated advocates, The Twilight illuminates the internal struggles that victims and their loved ones must go through to reclaim their lives after such a horrible ordeal. With this film we will draw the attention of a large audience to the realities of sexual assault and crack its pervasive myths wide open. This project has attracted the support of RAINN, the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization, as well as Peace Over Violence, one of the most active and well-known crisis centers in Los Angeles. In turn, Group Six Films will offer generous support to these important groups to aid in their mission to "prevent sexual assault, help victims, and ensure that rapists are brought to justice."
