Sleeping is Tory’s film debut. She first appeared on stage at the age of three and has since trained extensively in all areas including ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop, acting and voice. Tory’s broad theater experience includes such productions as “Nutcracker Ballet” with Pasadena Dance Theatre, “Annie” as the orphan Kate with the Shakespeare League of Pasadena, “Pinocchio” in the title role with Encore Performing Arts, “Christmas Is…” with Citrus College, “Gypsy” with Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater, “Fiddler on the Roof” in the role of Chava with Foothill Children Theatre, and many more. Tory completed a year and a half long run of the “American Girl Revue” theater production at The Grove in Los Angeles. Most recently, she appeared in “Into the Woods” production as the lead, “the Witch,” and also played the prestigious role of Scout in the theater production of “To Kill a Mockingbird” for the National Endowment for the Arts “Big Read” program at Lewis Playhouse.
This has been a busy year for Tory since completing Sleeping, as she has filmed a few commercials, a webisode titled “Dangerous Women” and a short film titled “Diamond Girl” playing the lead. She is happy to have worked with such wonderful and talented people, and a great director, Doug Conant! Tory currently attends L.A. County High School for the Arts.
